We designed and fabricated a touchless drink dispenser so that you can stay hydrated without having to touch a spigot when getting a drink from the liquid dispenser. The device is a battery powered system attached to a standard plastic liquid dispenser which can dispense a drink without having to touch any part of the dispenser. It is equipped with a photo sensor to detect when you position a cup under the spout, it automatically fill any size cup. The flow is stopped as the cup is moved away from the spout. The employee does not have to touch any part of the system to dispense a drink. A UV light constantly shines on the spout to disinfect it. Hot and cold.
